Absence Makes the Heart Grow Fonder

Well we had Trey our buck running with the girls a few weeks with no “activity” so Scott penned him back up thinking well its time to take him to the sale. A few days later we see a few of our does standing outside his pen wagging their tails fast and yelling to him. Poor guy wanted to “help them out” so bad he was trying to climb out his pen.

I’ve heard this was true about rabbits to remove buck and then reintroduce later can bring into heat. I guess the same is true for goats. 😉 I let the poor guy out and a few of the girls surrounded him and pestered the poor guy. So I guess we are having late spring babies! Bluebonnet I know for sure was bred yesterday. Addie got bred this morning.
